Having something of a fetish, well that’s what the wife calls it anyway!, for heavy machinery and interesting items it has come to pass that I am now have a wonderful example of the Mighty Scammell Crusader which is fresh from service with Her Majesty's Forces.
Hopefully over a period of time this site will become something of a general information area for myself and others that find this wonderful piece of kit of interest
As well as that it will be my own Diary of events for the old girl, its uses, its runs and general chit chat.
I am always happy to answer any questions that I can and at the same time hungry for knowledge on the Crusaders and Scammell’s in general.
